GTA 6 Weapons
The guns Rockstar has named or shown on screen - and why this record is shorter than the arsenal lists elsewhere.
Rockstar has not published a weapons page. This record lists only what Rockstar named itself, in the Ultimate Edition and pre-order announcement, or clearly showed being fired and handled in the two trailers: 9 weapons. The longer arsenal lists in circulation, thirty and forty guns deep, mix in identifications carried over from the September 2022 leak and carryovers from GTA 5 that nobody has seen in GTA 6 material. They are not reproduced here, and no leaked material is used anywhere on this site.
The weapons Rockstar has named
Three names come from Rockstar in print: Jason Duval's Girardi ES9, Lucia Caminos's Klose K17 and the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers of the Ultimate Edition. Everything else here is confirmed to exist because it is on screen in official footage, while the name it carries is the community's working label.
The loadout system
The clearest change Rockstar has communicated is not a gun, it is how you carry them. GTA 6 drops GTA 5's endless pocket arsenal for a limited loadout in the style of Red Dead Redemption 2: you choose what to take with you, and the rest stays in a vehicle. The weapon wheel is rebuilt around that, with a ring for equipment rather than just armour and a parachute. The exact carry limit is a press estimate, widely put at roughly two long guns and two sidearms on the body, and it is not a figure Rockstar has stated.
Customization
Attachments return: magazines, optics, muzzle devices, tints and liveries, with suppressors reducing noise and police attention. Where the work happens is unresolved. Some write-ups describe gun benches in safehouses with install animations; the more careful ones describe vendors instead and mention no benches at all. Until Rockstar shows it, this wiki treats the gun bench as unconfirmed.
What is not known
No damage numbers, no magazine sizes, no unlock levels, no prices. There is no official weapons page, so anything that reads like a spec sheet for GTA 6 is somebody's estimate. The figures on these pages are labelled as ours.
