Those lines lock in four hard facts: Brian is an active smuggler (not retired), he works out of a boat yard, he is married to a woman named Lori who is his third wife, and he has enough standing to delegate the risky field work. The page also carries an in-character quote that dates his career to an earlier, aviation-era hustle: "I hauled so much grass in that plane, I could make the state of Leonida levitate." The line paints a folksy, boastful operator whose smuggling predates the marina - planes then, boats now.

Brian is rooted in the Leonida Keys, GTA VI's take on the Florida Keys and a long-established smuggling corridor. His arc reads as a full career: a hands-on runner in an earlier era who has aged into a semi-retired principal - still moving product, but through other people's hands. Some press shorthand calls him a "former" drug runner; the official wording is that he is still active, just no longer doing the legwork himself, and that is the framing this wiki follows.

Within the story he functions as a handler and on-ramp. He is a local fixture who hands out work - shakedowns, collections, enforcement - rather than a cartel-level boss. Lori Heder (confirmed): Brian's third wife, named directly in his official bio and associated with the boat yard. After Trailer 2, fans and outlets identified the voice heard near the trailer's opening - Brian's - as actor Stephen Root (known for *Office Space*, *King of the Hill*, *Barry*, and *NewsRadio*). Several outlets repeated the identification, and Root has at times been credited as Brian Heder on IMDb, which fans cite as corroboration. But IMDb is user-editable, GTA credits have been added and retracted before, and voice-recognition is not confirmation.

Treat this as a strong but unofficial fan and press attribution - "widely believed to be voiced by Stephen Root" - never as fact. It should not be presented as confirmed until Rockstar releases an official cast list.
